Fruit Ninja is an arcade video game that is also an action game. In the first few years, this game was very popular, I guess no one has not heard of this game. The game was developed by Halfbrick Studios, and players can play it on different platforms such as Android, Microsoft Windows, and iOS.

First of all, the gameplay of this game is simple and attractive. This game is very simple and fun. Players only need to touch your screen with their hands to cut the fruit, and then they can get points. This process is very simple, but the sound effects of the fruits and the shapes of the fruits are very realistic, giving players a very real experience. Say you cut off an apple or a pear. Then you will hear the sound of you cutting the fruit with a knife, and at the same time, you will see that a lot of juice bursts out during the cutting process of your fruit. This process is very vivid. Many of us find this process very decompressing when we play. Because the gameplay is very simple, both children and adults can play this game, and the audience of this game is very large. I especially liked to play this game on the sofa on weekends. I would practice how to cut fruit better and cut a lot of fruit at the right time. Of course, as the level increases, the difficulty of cutting fruit will become higher and higher. The process is also very exciting and gives a very strong sense of accomplishment as if I was cutting real fruit. If the players are very skilled, they can cut many fruits with one knife and get a particularly high bonus. Among the scattered fruits, there are occasional fruits with special functions, which can allow us to obtain higher scores. I can keep playing this game for a long time.

In addition, the game's graphics and sound effects are very good. The different fruits are very realistic, and the image effect allows us to see the real fruit. As we cut the fruit, the fruit will float around, and the sound of cutting, also makes us more immersive and immersed in the game. Therefore, many children love to play this game, and some children even use this game to learn more fruits, such as pineapple, watermelon, tomato, etc. These children's knowledge of fruits will be strengthened. Indeed, this game helps children learn more about what fruit looks like and how it is cut. So I think this game is very suitable for children to play, of course, adults can also have a lot of fun.

However, the downside of this game is that it is a single-player game and can't interact better with friends. For example, in this game, only one person can play, and the other person can only stand by and watch. So it is difficult to form a good positive interaction.  For example, we can not play this game with our friends or relatives. So I hope that in the future, this game can be upgraded so that two or more people can play together and group members can have fun together. In this way, we can achieve better results through cooperation with each other, and can also enjoy company with friends in the process of playing the game.

Overall, I think it's a very good single-player game, we can play it while queuing or when we're idle. For example, when you've been finished duty for a day, and when you get home and sit in the sofa, then you can play this game. We feel especially refreshed when we hear the sound of fruit being cut into small pieces, which also makes us feel like our stress has become fragmented. So I think it is a very good decompression game. If you are looking for a simple and stress-relieving game, then I recommend you to try this game.

Developed by Halfbrick Studios, Fruit Ninja is an original classic fruit slicing game on its own right. The game receives massive amount of downloads and has been popular across the globe since its first release. Its fundamental gameplay is not complicated with a minimal single swipe/stroke motion control across the interface. This simple control is extremely suitable for smaller screens or tablet users. The rule of the game depends on the specific mode players select. There are three all-time classic playing modes with different level of intensity. In the default Classic Mode, players need to catch and slice all the fruit pieces popping up on the screen without dropping any of them, meanwhile they need to dodge bombs. In Classic mode, players can technically slice fruits until eternality and earn huge score, because there is no ticking clock and game goals  under this mode. Meanwhile, if players seek more intensity and excitement, then they can opt for the Arcade Mode which adopts a 60-second gaming session. Players don’t have to slice every single piece of fruit they see on the screen, but instead, they need to play strategically in the given amount of time. Apart from dodging bombs, players under Arcade Mode can also create boosters by combining certain powerful slicing in a row. This would greatly promote their scores and break records. It is the most intense mode among the three. The third mode is Zen Mode, a simply relaxing and chill fruit slicing time for those who like less intensity and enjoy more mellow and relaxing gameplay. There is no bomb or power-up in Zen Mode. All you need to do is to sit back, relax and enjoy! Apart from those three conventional modes, players can also participate in some special events and side challenge. In Event Mode, players can play with some special characters and win unique rewards. Those events are usually very intense but the special swords offered by them are definitely worth trying. Because players can take advantage of those special blades in those three conventional modes. Besides, the game is also trying to be interactive. Players can play or what he others play on a shared screen. They can also compete with others on daily challenges to climb up the ranking leaderboard.

Fruit Ninja has been well-received for a reason. The game play appears easy yet it is challenging enough to get better. This game doesn’t set a special ultimate goal for players to conquer, yet it integrates enough power-up mechanism and tools to motivate players to keep playing and making progress. The playing modes well balances the difficulty levels of the game and the side events and mini games accompany to the class modes to enhance the playability of this legendary mobile game. Plus, the game continues to incorporate more unique blades and dojos for players to try out and create their unique playing styles. Both single player and multiplayer modes are easy to control with clean interface. The problem and recent complaints of this classic game mainly come from the escalating of difficulty level and the upgrades mechanism of boosters.

Indeed, this game has been around over a decade and the dynamic and business mode have changed quite a lot on the market. Most mobile casual games gain profits from ads-wall and upgrading purchases. Such mainstream business strategy inevitably has an impact on older classic mobile games. Compared to its progressive and boosting mechanism in the earlier versions, the current Fruits Ninja is made harder to play and the in-game rewarding time gets longer for free power-ups. It is understandable that the developers craft the game this way to promote its ads revenue and purchases, but generally speaking this game still hold up decently well.
